Plagiarism:Pico Adworks(Mac vs PC ads)

This is just infuriating. There is no way in the world these would go unnoticed.

This is un- Fucking- believable and it´s also a shame that this piece was made in Mexico.

As some of you may know , I work in advertising. Mexico is filled with great publicist with heavy passion for their jobs, but others just bring down everything that´s being constructed in terms of creativity here in Mexico. It´s really a shame.

These so called publicist should explain the rational behind these ads…

Kids say hi to Pico Adworks. Tell them what you think.

who the fuck cares. What’s infuriating is that you are infuriated by such inconsequential nonsense, look around you, there’s plenty of relevant issues to be concerned about.

    Same shit different ass…

These dudes (http://www.filmik.com.mx/) also “made” a video based on a Speedo commercial and they charged something around USD$70k… they even used the same music!
The client: Gobierno de NL… this really sucks!

that just looks like a really lazy ad
I think most brands are guilty of that when budget is a bit low
even more susceptible when the ad agency is lazy, i don’t know if u can blame the mexico agency entirely – it could be a client request to produce an ad that resembles the mac one? maybe….

Publicists don’t have to justify anything to anyone but their clients. As long as the campaign works, everything goes. And as jefske says, we don’t know if this was a direct request from the customer.

Its not like they are claiming this ad as an original idea And they are not trying to hide the fact that its a PARODY of the mac ads. Its obvious that they WANT you to compare their ad to the mac ads.

Nobody has copywrite on two people talking against a white background who represent companies while trendy music plays in the background….
